The DJ world needs a proper well-managed up-to-date online DJ organizer…here it is!
For years now, the leading DJ organizer platforms have not kept pace with the times. Complaints from DJ companies are numerous and varied, with issues pointed out on everything from design to functionality and even code base structure (if you know, you know). Indeed, the various online DJ-specific forums are littered with regular and frequent comments from unhappy customers about these issues and more.
Clearly, there needs to be a better offering in the DJ Management Platform space.
Current DJ Organizer Platforms are inadequate
- Design on most platforms has not been updated in over a decade (including the leading platform available as of July 1st, 2024). Current layouts within these platforms looks as if it hasn’t been updated since before 2010, which hurts the ability of DJ companies to effectively manage their companies.
- Functionality within the legacy platforms is woeful at best. Current UX/UI (the layout and how everything works together) standards are not being met by these old & ancient DJ organizers, which had led to “feature bloat” in most cases….again, hurting the effectiveness of DJ companies to manage their day-to-day operations.
- Codebase behind the scenes isn’t something that most DJs can observe and comment on. But, there are signs that the codebase of legacy platforms has reached it’s current EOL (end-of-life) stage. Incidents such as the Winter 2024 email fiasco (where client emails were not being delivered) with respect to new SPF-DKIM-DMARC requirements from the big email providers not being adjusted to by the legacy platforms show just how serious codebase problems can be, and how they can affect DJ company operations hen not handled properly.
- Customer Service is sorely lacking from the legacy platforms, with serious tech support requests taking days to even see a reply. This lack of a proper customer support process has left countless DJ companies without recourse…which of course is unnaceptable in today’s ennvironment.

All messages will be returned within at least one business day, with resolutions to tech support items tracked through a proper Support Ticket system that contains auto-updates.

The regular functionality for Disc Jockey manager will be free…forever (this is not a joke). We realize of course that this is an unusual business model, as all the other DJ company organizer platforms charge a monthly fee. We’re taking a different approach though, with our model being based around running an ad-supported platform to earn the revenue we need to grow and maintain the platform now and in the future. Ads for such items as Audio-Lighting-Video Gear, DJ Music Supply, Record Labels, DJ Insurance, DJ Coaching and other DJ relevant Goods/Services will be sprinkled throughout our platform ina tasteful yet prominent layout.
